# Edition 02 data dictionary

Cutoff: 12 September 2026. Currency: GBP. Original response bytes and unabridged
third-party files are retained privately, not served by the public build.

- participant-rows.csv / .json: seven selected workbook rows, not the whole dataset.
  Excel row numbers include header row 1. Raw names, identifiers, separate status
  fields and missing values are retained. Dates use the Excel 1900 date system.
- sources.json: seven primary sources, exact URLs, locators, retrievals and hashes.
- amounts.json: proposal, cost, reported-spend, blank-offer and separate-project
  observations. Null means absent/blank, not zero. Do not add these observations.
- relationships.json: conditional selection and registered corporate control.
  Neither is a confirmed grant disbursement or an upstream money-transfer edge.
- search-boundaries.json: scoped nonfindings; no risk scores or absence certificates.

Column mapping: E application; F project; G title; K raw participant; L lead; M CRN;
N/O dates; P award offered; Q costs; R actual spend to date; S participant withdrawn
from project (source heading); T project status. The CIP source row S30778 says
Active while T30778 says Withdrawn: different fields, both preserved.

The misspelling Photoncis is original data. Company number 04905488 is the identity
bridge. CST Global Ltd, CRN 08731491 in project 133181, is not silently merged with
SIVERS PHOTONICS LIMITED, CRN SC211759 in project 103444. No identity/ownership
conclusion about those two companies is needed for this dossier.

T01's 25 July 2017 date is a funders-panel date. T02's 3 September 2026 date is the
publication-page update; the workbook filename embeds 2 September. T06's date is
the GtR data-update footer. T03's notification date is not an acquisition date.
Preserve these semantics when comparing time periods.
